1up Brawl coverage kicks off

1up is taking an interesting approach to Brawl coverage. First off, a rather normal commentary. 1up has put together a video of final smashes, and they want you to vote on which one you believe is the best. Of course, that editorial is rife with spoilers.

The second spread is one of the stranger pieces I have seen on the Web. I am still not quite certain what’s going on with the spread. Tongue-in-cheek humor, or is there something else going on here? For example, here is a portion of Snake’s profile.

Fisher
Origin: Splinter Cell: The Secret War (1992)
Samuel Leo Fisher is a veteran of the U.S. Navy’s SEAL Team 10 and a subject of the NSA’s Third Echelon “Splinter Cell” experiment. Injected with the cells of history’s greatest warriors, Sam has superhuman strength and senses, as well as a complete indifference to human life, including his own.

Yeah…I know..completely wrong. Click here to read all the other weird profiles. whether that is humor, it’s above me. whether it’s something else at play, soon after I’ve been had.
