Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is best on Wii…no, really…

A portion of a AN interview with Trevor Powell, Lead Programmer at Krome Studios…

A-N: So, obviously you’re biased, but comparing the Wii version to the PS3 and 360 versions, and considering the improved graphics against the motion controls, which would you say gives the best Star Wars experience?

TP: (Laughs) Well I’m definitely biased on that one. Considering I was the guy who coded the gesture controls, I’m definitely biased in that direction. For me, the difference of having the lightsaber

in your hand and swinging it, versus holding a controller and tapping a button is a huge difference. You know, though, I wouldn’t have said that whether you’d asked me a couple years ago, but having done it both ways, there’s just no comparison. Once you’ve swung the lightsaber with the Wii Remote, you can’t really go back to the other versions and still say “Yeah I’m a Jedi”.
