Teachers lash out at violent video games, parents not parenting

“Indulgent parents are struggling in a commercialised world to deal with poor behaviour on the part of their children and that spills by into schools, making it more difficult for teachers to manage with youngsters.” - NUT secretary general Steve Sinnott

One of the examples used was of

a 6-year-old that was allowed to play Grand Theft Auto, soon after went into school and told his teacher about killing pimps and prostitutes. Something tells me that the parents may be to blame in that case…
