The video game industry is all about sequels. The large majority of games are made with sequels in mind. Why produce money off of one title when you can turn it into a cash-printing franchise? That’s why it’s so hard to get new IPs out there, unless you are a big-shot publisher.

GamePro has put together a list of some great games to look forward to in 2008, and none of these titles are sequels. Of course, whether they do well…expect many sequels.
