Why did Super Mario Galaxy’s sales drop off in January?

Yes, a drop in Galaxy sales was expected…but the drop was quite big. The analysts have put their heads together to discuss the topic, and they’ve come up with a pretty simple solution. Nintendo under shipped the Wii in January,

and it seems that they did the same with Super Mario Galaxy. February may very well see a considerable pickup.
