Yahoo Tells You How to Save Your Relationship from Games; Female Gamer Responds

Gracing the front page of Yahoo! News that was a little write-up listing seven tips for women to drag their man away from video games. Ironically, the essay was written by a guy, whose suggestions mostly involved trickery and subversion. He advocated that women, for example: fake a potential outage, dress up like video game characters, and use video games to inspire “nighttime activities.” I was all set to write up a whole editorial making fun of the essay bit by bit, but Allison Boyer by at Binge Gaming beat me to the punch. In another twist of irony, there’s now another commentary on the Web saying why all those tips are useless, that date written by a girl. Probably the best

advice for women who are having huge relationship problems considering of video games though, which Boyer covers: just break up already.
